Foundation Cigar Company was set up in 2015 by Nicholas Melillo, a Connecticut native whose work in tobacco took him to Nicaragua. Its lines include The Wise Man, The Tabernacle, Charter Oak, Highclere Castle, Olmec and Aksum, and the Highclere Castle cigars are stated to be rolled in Estelí, Nicaragua.
